Although a little sad, BP enjoyed watching the sun rise over the mountain. She felt that everything would
go well for the injured people.
After a good breakfast, the family packed the car and headed down the road. BP's excitement rose as they drew closer to Gatlinburg. She was going to help pick a new friend to join the family. She didn't know who her new friend would be, but she knew that the moment she saw her, she would recognize her. The car stopped at Byrne's Woodcrafters in Gatlinburg, TN, and BP eagerly jumped out of the car and ran to her former home, a wooden box near the store window. Several bears were sitting inside the box. One of the bears was jumping up and down with excitement. The little tan and white bear was trembling. BP knew in an instance that the little bear was going to be her new best friend.
After adopting the little bear, the family discussed names with her. "How about "Little Beach", since we are heading for the beach?" said Stu. "That's good," Missy agreed. The little bear whispered in BP's ear, "I love cinnamon. Do we have any?" "I don't know, but you just gave me an idea!" exclaimed BP. "How about 'Little Cinnamon Beach" for a name. She just told me she loves cinnamon, and her fur is cinnamony-coloured." Everyone agreed that "Little Cinnamon Beach" was a perfect name for the new bear. Of course, they immediately started calling her, "CB". The bear pair chattered away while the family traveled on to their next stop at the Hampton Inn in Matthews, NC. It was a comfy room, and it had a jacuzzi! The window looked out on a pretty field as well as the hotel swimming pool. CB thought, "I'm going to like being a part of this family."
Everyone woke well rested the next morning, and soon they were on their way to the beach!!!
