After lunch, Stu and Missy took the girls to Walmart to pick up a few things. The girls decided to go the
the crafts section and they found something WONDERFUL! A huge bag of multicolored FEATHERS! "WOW, have you ever
seen so many Bear feathers at once!" shouted CB. "No," said BP. "We have to get them!" BP and CB grabbed a bag and soon the
pair were heading back to the cabin with their find. They soon had the bag ripped open and were sqealing with delight!
Missy and Stu came into the living around 4 and heard the girls giggling. "What's going on?" asked Missy. "You'll see," said CB, then she grinned at BP. About 10 minutes later, the announcer said, "Oak Island," and the girls joined in saying, "seize three feet." At the same moment they grabbed three of their feet and began laughing. "What are you girls talking about?", asked Missy looking at Stu. "I think they've finally cracked up." The girls told them that every 15 minutes or so, the TV announcer would say, "Oak Island, seize three feet," and the girls would do so. They said they thought everyone should join in on the fun! "You realize that he is talking about the surf height and is saying 'seas, three feet'?" asked Missy. "Sure!" said BP, "but it is fun this way." Missy and Stu decided to join in on the fun with the girls. When Mom and Dad came in later to check on the progress of dinner, they found all four-CB, BP, Stu, and Missy-sayng with the announcer, "Seize three feet" and laughing. Mom asked Missy what was up, but Missy was laughing so hard she couldn't talk. BP explained the joke and for the rest of the evening, Mom joined in with the laughter.
Later that night, the family made sure that no loose items were left out on the deck or around the cabin. The sound of the surf could be heard louder than earlier that day. The wind was picking up and blowing harder. BP and CB took a quick stroll down to the water's edge to look at the waves. "I think Missy and Stu are right about not worrying," said BP. CB agreed with her, and both bears ran up to the cabin to go to bed.
