A Beary, Merry Christmas 2004 - A Few Friends

Season's Greetings       Our Family

We were inspired in creating the 2004 Christmas theme this year. Missy had begin decorating the house, but the we wanted to add our personal touch. We invited several of our dearest friends to come decorate. Of course, the first thing needed was to pick up our friends and bring them back to the house. One big problem, we didn't drive! Fortunately, Stu didn't mind going and picking up our friends.

Soon some of our bear friends had arrived along with a friend of Missy and Stu's, Brett. We had a nice time visiting and talking about what Christmas and the holidays mean to us bears. After a delicious supper, Brett left and all our bear friends settled in to discuss how we would incorporate our vision of the holidays with Stu's and Missy's vision.

The first thing to do was to create some Teddy Bear Ornaments to hang around the doorway garland and around the house. Soon we had our production line of ornament making up and running. Missy volunteered to create the template, and we began cutting out the bears and sewing them. A couple of us stuffed the sewn bears and sewed the final seam. We made purple bears for living room and bedroom, green/red/white bears for the kitchen and studio, as well as other bears to be used around the house.
