  Over on the bookcase you'll see Peter making sure that the Christmas Countdown board is correct, while his two helpers ensure that the ladder doesn't move. Peter updates this board every morning all year round, since we work 24/7/364.

Above us in many of the rooms, you'll notice that our overhead light is provided by wreaths. We'll point them out as we move around the house.

Our fireplace glows with gentle candlelight, since our winter here in Kentucky is rather mild. Of course, Santa and Mrs. Claus really enjoy sitting in front of the fire on cold winter nights. Fireside Bear makes sure that there is plenty of kindling available at all times, just in case a cold snap occurs. Typically, on nights when the fire is burning brightly, Santa and Mrs. Claus share tales of past Christmas' with the elves as everyone enjoys popcorn and hot chocolate.
