2007/03/17 Wow! Stu and Missy just gave us a great gift! Our very own "HoneymoonBears.com" website! Whoo-hoo are we excited! We'll spend some time this weekend moving everything over to it. It may take a little while, but YEAH! CB is sitting here next to me looking lovingly at the URL. Hehehe. I think she is in a daze! (No, I'm not! - CB) I wonder if we are the only bears to have our own site? Hmm...I may research that one. Oh...supper's just about ready! Toodle-loo!

2007/03/17 Happy St. Patricks's Day! Yes, even we bears celebrate St. Paddy's Day. CB and I are wearing our green ribbons to get into the spirit. Missy and Stu are making corn beef and cabbage for all of us to eat this afternoon. Missy asked CB and I to make our spice cake with cream cheese frosting. The cake is in the oven now, and it's beginning to smell great! Stu's busy making yeast cornbread to go with our meal. He found the recipe in the bread maker recipe book Missy got him for Christmas. It is a whole grain bread and has a delightful taste. It should go well with our corn beef and cabbage. Missy's been puttering around on her website adding new information. She is starting an area for entertaining. She has a great picture of one of her granddaughters, Lexi, she took during Lexi's birthday party last year. CB and I have been holding a photo shoot for our friends. We want to put their pictures on the web on our Honorary Bear Friends web page, so you can get a chance to meet them. Crystal's been spending the day with Belle. I think she trying to teach Belle how to be a bear. I'm not sure it's going well, however. But Crystal is patient, so if anyone can teach Belle, it would be Crystal.

2007/03/16 Missy told us this morning that we are all going to go on a trip soon! CB and I are really excited, since we are going to stay in the mountains of North Carolina. While we have traveled through that area, we've never stayed there. We are already planning our next Honeymoon Bear Picnic in the woods! We'll be sure to take lots of pictures to share with you. Have you ever been on a Honeymoon Bear Picnic? I think you would enjoy it very much. I'm going to try experimenting this weekend to come up with a new treat. I love playing around in the kitchen trying new recipes, using new techniques, and sharing with everyone.

2007/03/15 Hi everyone! CB, Crystal, and I are having fun on Missy's computer while she is getting ready to go to work to teach. She's feeling a little better, but not completely up to par. I'm updating some of my pages, while Crystal throws in a few suggestions. Missy's son, Michael, returned to basic training yesterday. He had to come home for a few weeks to recover from hernia surgery. I'm going to write him a letter tonight and give it to Missy to mail. He gets lonely which isn't surprising, since this is his first time so far from Lexington. CB and I have made all sorts of plans for upcoming Honeymoon Bear picnics. We plan to create some really cool recipes to share with you, and to bring the camera along on the picnic, so that we have great pics to post on the web. Ivy is looking forward to her first picnic. She really loves the Spring and can't wait to explore our gardens. I'm hoping to get some of our recipes up on the web this weekend. I may even share my most secret chocolate recipe with all of you. Missy just came by and gave us a kiss goodbye; she's off to the classroom! Stu is still working in his studio, but I suspect he'll be leaving also. CB is in the living room calling for me, so I'm going to see what she wants. I'll be back later!

2007/03/13 Just a few thoughts right now. Missy is working from home today, since she still doesn't feel well. I've told her that I'll take care of her and make sure she gets plenty of fluids and a healthy dose of chocolate. I've just about got the Bear Food Pyramid finished. I'll post it here when I do finish it. CB is giving me her input and approval. She thought it was a neat idea. It is so quiet this early in the morning (around 5am). The only other person up is Belle. She has finished eating and is curled up on several papers from Missy's work. Cats are so strange! We had a quiet evening yesterday. All of us curled up on the bed, ate some of Missy's casserole, and watch a few episodes of Star Trek Voyager, Second Session. Dusty, our Space Cat, decided she wanted to try to fly to Crystal's chandelier, and she made it! She spent the night up there. I think she is afraid of jumping back down to the bed, which is silly since the bed is not far away, and it's a water-bed. It's wonderfully bouncy. I hear Missy stirring, so I better "bounce" off of here so she can do her work. I'll be back when she takes a break later this morning. See you soon!

2007/03/12 CB suggested that this journal should reflect how my mind works. She said it will be a great place to keep all my lists too! So, here I go with a few thoughts about the website:

2007/03/11 Ah...my own little space to jot down my thoughts about life, liberty, and chocolate! I'm going to start my journal with a little bit about myself. I am me. :) I'm a cute, little, cuddly bear who lives with a lovely couple named Stu and Missy. I also am blessed with some dear sisters, CB and Crystal. Of course we have lots of bear friends, as well as some cow, kitty, and puppy friends. Our newest friend we just met on Friday is named Ivy. She is a cute, little white lamb. One of Missy's friends at work introduced them to each other, and Ivy came to our house to live. We live in a really peaceful house in Lexington, KY. We are surrounded by gardens and planned to build a nice fence around the back yard this summer. CB and I are really happy with all the woods that exist on the property. Of course, you know how much we bears love picnicing in the woods! What do we do all day? Well, of course we help around the house. Bears love to do housework and make things all neat and tidy. CB and I are expanding our website, "The Honeymoon Bears", and I've started a new advice column called, "BP's Advice to the Bearlorn". Already, folks have started writing to me, and I have enjoyed reading their mail and providing a few sage words of advice. CB is busy as ever writing new songs that are sure to be a hit amoung our friends. She is so clever and cinnamony! I'm hoping that she'll share a few of them with us. Sad to say, Missy is not feeling well. She seems to have a bad head cold, and she is very uncomfortable, especially at night. CB and I have been giving her a lot of love and cuddles. I also have been encouraging her to imbibe chocolate, since it is a magical cure-all and very nutritious too! Although she went to work today, I'm hoping she comes home early (for her that would be working only around 11 hours) and rests for the evening. Stu is busy as ever with NCATE coming up this year. I want to ask him why is he so busy because NC ate, but he has been too busy, and I haven't wanted to bother him with details. CB and I are trying to make sure he gets plenty of rest, and CB keeps sneaking cinnamon in his tea and coffee. She says that's why he has so much energy. I don't doubt it, because she is extremely energetic! Well, I had better go and get the dishes done. Don't be surprised if I jot down a few more thoughts later today!
lovingly yours,
